Kym Graham was born in April 1981 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She was creative at a young age and became involved with Theatre in Junior High and through to High School. It was then that Kym was introduced to Masks and she instantly fell in love with Mask Work.

After High School Kym did some soul searching and continued to build masks as a hobby. She took an acting and voice class and this is when Kym was introduced to Yoga. Unexpectedly, Yoga threw her onto a brand new path and her spiritual roots were formed. At this time she also became familiar with Qi Gong meditation.

During a meditation experience, Kym came to understand her true happiness came from her connection with the spiritual realm as well as her art practice. She also became aware that the two went hand in hand and that she could not have one without the other.

In 2002 Kym enrolled into a Theatre Production program at Grant MacEwan college where she specialized in Scenic Art and Props. After graduating Kym began to work in Theatre and Film as a Scenic Artist as well as continue to grow spiritually.

Kym intuitively became quite drawn to Herbology and Crystal healing. This led to her taking a Chartered Herbalist course through Dominion Herbal College. She began making her own special blends of herbal teas as gifts and to help friends in need.

After 2 years of working in Film and Theatre, Kym began to transform her hobby of Mask Making into a business and thus in 2006 Chi Customs was born. She began to market and sell her masks at festivals including the Edmonton Fringe Festival.

In 2008, Kym realized it was time to make a change. Her spirituality continued to grow along with her passion for art and she knew that a new career was on the horizon. Kym knew that she was meant to be a healer, she was finding ways to creatively heal through art using methods such as Mandalas, Sacred Geometry and her masks. It was at this time Kym made a tough decision and left the Film and Theatre industry.

In February 2008 Kym took Reiki levels 1 and 2 and began practicing Reiki part time, working towards her Reiki Masters, which she received in June, 2009. She has also received her Adept 1 and 2, Sacred Geometry level 1 and Astral Projection level 1 from Rocky Mountain Mystery School.

Kym is currently working toward running her business full time, with a goal of bringing more healing and original art to the world. She continuously strives to gain more experience by taking new courses and workshops regularly. Most recently she took an inspiring arts intensive with Alex and Allyson Grey.
